Central Plaza
Central Plaza, a prominent business hub located in Brisbane’s Central Business District (CBD), was originally designed in the 1980s by internationally renowned architect Dr. Kisho Kurokawa.
In a recent transformation of the Central Plaza Annex, the space was reimagined to include a new public dining laneway that cuts through the building, creating a vibrant street presence along Eagle Lane, which previously featured only a blank façade and loading dock. This comprehensive redesign also included a full refurbishment of the base building.
At the heart of the annex is a stunning copper-clad staircase that commands attention, flanked by a striking double-height green wall that draws the eye upward. This lush vertical garden, abundant with vibrant foliage, is beautifully illuminated by Intralux’s Enepro Grow spotlights, engineered specifically to support plant life in architectural settings.
The Enepro Grow is a specialised luminaire tailored for biophilic designs such as grow walls, green walls, planters, and potted plants, as well as any other vegetation incorporated into built environments. This lighting solution plays a vital role in promoting the health and vibrancy of plant life, which is integral to creating a connection between the indoors and nature.
