Lighting Overview
Data Halls offer versatile lighting options, including track lighting, trunking, and surface-mounted solutions. Our focus is on efficiency, sustainability, and flexibility. Utilising trunking or track systems along the aisles enables the mounting of linear luminaires designed for high vertical illumination at varying heights. These solutions also accommodate sensors and emergency lighting for streamlined deployment. Accent or wall lighting enhances the space for visitors and ensures technicians feel comfortable, avoiding a cave-like or eerie environment.
Front of House Utilising downlights, cove lighting, and extrusions in the front of house area enhances functionality and creates an inviting ambience, particularly in offices and reception areas. Given the premium nature of data centres, a modern architectural approach to finishes and efficiencies guides the selection and usage of these luminaires.
Back of House Battens, oysters, and edge-lit panels are used in these areas to efficiently illuminate communications and service rooms. These options are selected for their affordability and longevity, aligning with the practical needs of the space. Integration of sensors further enhances sustainability by optimising lighting usage in these areas.
Exterior Lighting In high-security areas like data centres, a well-lit exterior is paramount. Utilising post-top lights, bollards, and facade lighters ensures optimal visibility and safety. High CRI options facilitate ease with CCTV surveillance. Also, facade grazing and RGBW-accented bollards strike a balance between visibility and enhancing brand awareness.
